Jarrius Ward, Overland High School: On one of his early throws at the Pomona Invitational, Ward threw a massive season's best in the discus, getting out to 184-2. This throw puts him clearly in the lead in all of colorado and puts him at #38 in the whole country.
Wilkins Persichina, Chaparral High School: In the preliminary round at the Pomona Invitational, Persichina ran a massive PR of 21.19 in the 200m! He ended up winning the race and put him at #1 in all of Colorado. He is also in the top 20 in the whole nation with that time.
Darrell Ishman, Castle View High School: On Monday, Ishman started his week strong, jumping 48-0.5 at the Legend Titan Track Clash. Not only does this mark put him #1 in Colorado by almost a foot, but also places him top 40 in the whole nation.
Eaglecrest High School 4x100m Relay Team: In an incredibly competitive race at the Titan Invite, Eaglecrest High School came out on top, running 40.99 in the 4x100m relay, only the second time in Colorado history that a team has run under 41 seconds! They beat out Mountain Vista High School, who ran 41.13 and Mesa Ridge High School, who ran 41.70. Their time also puts them in the top 50 in the whole nation.
Tanner Kaufman, Frederick High School: Running at the Boulder County Track Championship, Kaufman ran a Colorado-leading time of 1:53.17 in the 800m, which was also a massive PR! His previous best time from the season was 1:59, but Kaufman was able to drop his mark substantially and earned a top 60 ranking in the whole nation.
