At the top of the list is Addison Ritzenhein of Niwot High School, who ran an incredible time of 16:31 to place 2nd overall at last year's race! She is one of the favorites to win the Southwest Regional and after a strong end to the regular season for Ritzenhein with another individual state title, she is on the right track to run her way into a top finishing placement!
Delaney Reuter of Eaton High School is also riding a lot of momentum. Reuter has already almost run her time of 16:42 from last year earlier in the season when she ran 16:43 at Liberty Bell, so she has a very good shot of running much faster this year. She could find her self much closer to Ritzenhein and the rest of the top of the field!
