Though there is still plenty of racing ahead, the winners for the Colorado Performer of the Year poll for the regular high school season are Hunter Robbie and Addison Ritzenhein of Niwot High School!
Robbie helped his team to another Class 5A state team title and finished 2nd overall in the race! He also dipped under the previous 5A course record. He finished out the regular season with a season best time of 14:47 from Desert Twilight.
Ritzenhein continued her winning ways, placing 1st at Desert Twilight in a time of 17:00. She also won her third straight individual cross country state meet title, while also leading her team back to the top of the podium in Class 5A. Ritzenhein's season best time of 16:54 will definitely drop down as she continues her progression in to the regional and national meets.
