The 2026 indoor season is almost here and we have preseason rankings! However, there has already been some impressive performances to start off this winter. First, Zenobia Witt has put herself in the #1 spot in three events, including the 60m, 60m hurdles, and the long jump. Witt is one of the top returners in all three of those events and is protecting her placements. She has run 7.81 in the 60m, 8.62 in the 60m hurdles, and 19-2.5 in the long jump. Witt is also the top returner in the triple jump, where she made it out to a mark of 37-6 last season.
There has already been a handful of girls who have ran around 60 seconds for the 400m, which does put them high on the returners list including Malanya Gains (60.3), Sammie Holliday (60.32), Rhyan Gadlin (60.61), and Alexa Queen (60.62). These ladies all ran their times at the first Mines Indoor meet, running on a track that is slightly smaller than 200m, making their early season marks even more impressive!
