Girls Performer of the Week (03/02-07)

Here are some of the best performances from this past weekend! Make sure to get your votes in my 11:59pm MT on Thursday, March 12th!

Meron Hoffman, Vista Ridge High School: At their home meet The Wolfpack Invite, Hoffman popped off a throw of 39-1 in the shot put, which tops her previous PR by almost two feet! She finished 3rd overall at the 5A state meet and is one of the top returners in the event.

Madeline Clark, Mountain View High School: Clark ran an impressive five second PR in the 800m to open up her season with an astounding 2:08 at the Max Marr Invitational! That time would have tied her for the top time from last year, and it is only the first weekend of the 2026 season!

Braelyn Bailey, Roosevelt High School: Bailey opened up her season well in the high jump, getting over 5-6 at the  John Martin Early Bird Invite. She has the best jump in all of Colorado so far this season!

Ruby Naber, University High School: Naber jumped lights out in the triple jump at the City of Greeley Championships, where she got out to an impressive mark of 39-9.5! That early season mark would have placed her in the top 3 for all of Colorado last season, and it is only week 1!

Alexa Queen, Fountain-Fort Carson High School: Queen started off her season very strong in both hurdle events, winning the 100m hurdles and the 300m hurdles at the CSU-Pueblo Early Bird. Queen ran 14.49 and 43.23 to top the Colorado rankings in the events! She also placed 2nd in the 100m and helped her team to a 2nd place finish in the 4x400m relay for a very busy day.
