Cherry Creek High School's 4x100m Relay: Cherry Creek High School ran a state-leading time in the 4x100m relay, crossing the line in 1st at the Valor Invitational in a time of 41.53! That time is the 2nd fastest time in school history for Cherry Creek and only a few tenths away from their school record.
Nathan Moller, Palmer Ridge High School: Moller had a strong day at the PPAC League Championship, winning the 110m hurdles and high jump and finishing 2nd in long jump. For high jump, he got over the bar at 6-7, hitting a state-leading mark in that event. He also jumped 23-0 in long jump, which was a wind legal mark compared to some of the other jumpers' marks. He is currently tied for #4 for wind legal marks in Colorado!
Antheney Herre, Thompson Valley High School: Herre won the 1600m at the Altitude Invite running a huge PR in the process! He ran 4:12 for the individual win and is currently ranked #3 in the whole state of Colorado with that effort. He also just out-leaned Ben Lee, who is an incredibly strong competitor.
Niwot High School's Distance Medley Relay: Niwot High School took a good chuck of their team to the Oregon Relays and ran a fantastic time in the Distance Medley Relay! Though not a CHSAA certified event, the team ran a national-leading time of 9:53 in the event with Hunter Robbie running the 1200m leg, Joshua Archuleta running the 400m leg, Rocco Culpepper on the 800m leg, and Quinn Sullivan closing it out on the 1600m leg. Their time of 9:53 is also one the best times in general in the event compared to previous seasons.
Bryson States, Eaglecrest High School: States jumped up in the rankings for the triple jump, putting himself at #1 for the state of Colorado! He got out to a mark of 47-6.5, winning the event at the Legend Titan Track Clash. He also hit a personal best by about five inches!
