Kiera Schra, Thompson Valley High School: She cleared 5-3 in the high jump at the Longs Peak/Northern League Championships, bettering her previous personal record of 4-11! The senior ranks #22 in Colorado and #6 among seniors while placing 4th out of 23 competitors.
Brier Jensen, Thompson Valley High School: Jensen ran 15.41 in the 100-meter hurdles at the Longs Peak/Northern League Championships, improving from 16.23! The sophomore ranks #20 in Colorado and #3 among sophomores after placing 3rd out of 33 competitors. Jensen also set a personal record in the 300-meter hurdles, running 48.10 to improve from 48.56.
Mads Kreutzer, Del Norte High School: Kreutzer ran 10:01.15 in the 3200 meters at The Pueblo Twilight, improving from 10:31.11 set in April! The junior ranks #141 in Colorado and #46 among juniors while placing 30th out of 69 competitors. Kreutzer also set a personal record in the 800 meters, running 2:04.01 to improve from 2:06.33.
Micah Thurston, Jefferson Academy: Thurston threw 138-8 in the discus at the Metro League Championship, improving from 123-11 set in April! The junior's throw set a school record and ranks #78 in Colorado and #26 among state juniors while earning first place out of 20 competitors.
