CO Girls Class 4A/5A Performances from the State Meet

Suraiya Payne, Sierra High School: In probably the most competitive classification for the sprints, Payne came out victorious in the 100m for Class 4A, running 11.64 for the victory! She ran a new personal best in the process to earn that win, and she placed 7th overall in the 400m running a time of 58.81. 

Kiana Cumings, Windsor High School: Cumings returned as the champion in the 200m and the 400m once again for Class 4A! She first helped her team to a win in the 4x200m relay, where the team ran an overall time of 1:39. She then went on to run 54.64 in the 400m to win the individual title. Then she ran 23.58 in the 200m and helped her team to another win in the 4x400m relay, running 3:49!

Reagan Falletta, Pueblo East High School: Falletta hit multiple personal best times in the hurdles this weekend to win both individual titles! She ran under 14 seconds for the first time, running 13.92 to win the title! That time was also the 4th fastest time run in Colorado this year. She then ran 42.11 in the 300m hurdles for a new personal best in the preliminary round and a new #1 time for Colorado. She ran 42.34 in the finals to win that title.
