Lizzie Harding returns with the fourth fastest time in the class.
This year's incoming senior class is loaded. Literally. And it makes sense - some of the best teams and individuals in the country are coming out of Colorado.
All in all, six returners broke the magical 18 minute barrier last year. Of the six, four come from two teams - Battle Mountain, and Peak to Peak.
The Peak to Peak duo of Anna Shults and Quinn McConnell top the charts here. In reference to time, they're clear of the field. Shults ran 17:19 last year, while McConnell wasn't far behind in 17:29.
The pack thickens a pick just over twenty seconds back, where Mountain Vista's Caroline Eck and Discovery Canyon's Liberty Ricca come in.
The other duo who have gone sub 18 aren't just on the same team - they live in the same house. Lizzy Harding and Naomi Harding return for battle this year, looking to lead Battle Mountain back to NXN.
Of the massive batch that returns, keep an eye on Ricca - her gains on the track appear to be a prelude of what more we'll see this cross country season.
With a senior class this loaded, the girl's side of cross country this fall is sure to be a thriller.
