Battle Mountain leads the charge as the fastest team in 4A.
It's not that huge of a surprise that last year's third-place squad at NXN tops this chart. Battle Mountain showed up on the right day, and looking at their personal bests, that sort of edge was evident throughout the season.
Battle Mountain has got an 18:35 team average, and a 1:28 split between their first and fifth runners. This is quite dominating. The one-two punch from the Harding sisters - both sub 18 5k runners, really give them the crown here. Additionally, their fifth runner ran 19:22 last year.
Behind them, it's close all the way back from two through five.
Rather than name the schools, I list their team averages...
18:55, 18:58, 19:00, and 19:01.
If everyone's PR was run on the same course, less than 20 points would separate 2-5. So who are the two-through-five teams? Head to next page and find out...
