While the 100/110 hurdles and 300 hurdles live within the same 'family' as "Hurdles," they are vastly different in terms of the strength and/or speed required to be successful in each event.
Finding success in both requires some serious work, and in combining the two separate events to come up with one not-so-magical number, we can see who truly is the Queen and King of the Colorado Hurdle 'family.'
Valor Christian could be dubbed Hurdle High, because it's got the top two combined hurdlers in the state on the girl's side of the list. Anna Hall and Lizzie Waters top these charts, with Hall's 55.61 combined time a clear leader. Waters has got a combo of 58.33, which is nearly two seconds up on Tara Hitchcock's 59.91.
Four have combined times under 60 seconds, which includes Kilah Freelon, who has a combined time of 59.99 - it doesn't get any closer than that!
