What is the difference between red and blue divisions? Is this something we need to be aware of when we register our teams? Thanks

@lesia2136 Hi Coach, This year, due to growth and input from several coaches, we have expanded our Championship races to two divisions (Blue and Red which are the team colors we use for our Summit Ridge team which hosts the event). The assignment to a Championship division for the most part will be based on the high school that the majority of a schools runners will attend or feed into, so that they are competing against the same kids that they will face through their high school careers should they continue to participate in this great sport after middle school. All you have to do as a coach is to answer that question (it comes up when registering your school), and we will assign based on CHSAA high school assignment. However, we do reserve the right to assign schools to a division as necessary for balance and equity in the races, so the final decision will rest with us, but as I said, most will be directed by their high school.

Hello, When do we find out if we've been switched to the other division? Parents are trying to decide if they should drive up the night before or day of. Also, how many runners score for team score? Thank you, Jen McQuitty

Will there be an email or something that comes out letting coaches know which division the kids are running in to confirm that they have/haven't changed divisions?
