Tiger Relay Info sheet and Schedule of Events


This is a CHSAA State Qualifying Meet. All NFHS and CHSAA Track and Field Rules apply.

Pole Vault will be held at Dutch Clark in Pueblo on Wednesday April 16th at 3:00 pm. Please enter on milesplit.

April 17th, coaches meeting at 9:30 am right behind the Press Box. Field events begin at 10:00 am. Running events begin at 11:00 am.

2 entries per event and 1 entry per relay. Scoring - We will score the top 8 places (10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1)

Preliminaries - Shot, Discus, Long, and Triple Jump Top 9 will have advance to the finals

Weigh in for shot and discus will take place at the shed on the southeast side of the field.

Coaches boxes : For all jumps coaches must remain in the designated boxes in the endzones. There will be one box for long jump and one for triple jump.

All video, audio, I-pod, CD, radio, head phones, etc. are not allowed in the restricted are. A violation will result in an event disqualification.

Team Camps - Camps may be set up in the stands or on the grass on the west side of the stadium. Tents only in the top rows or on the back side of the West stands. No camps on the infield.

Relay and Jump markings - Competitors will be allowed to use tape or tennis balls for the long jump, triple jump, high jump and relay exchange markings.

No hats or head covering of any kind. Head bands will be allowed if they are a single color and only one manufactures logo no larger the 2 1/4 inches. Hair ribbons may be worn for hair control. Devices must be soft, pliable, solid color, unadorned and not excessive in length. Sun glasses will be allowed if they are for sun block only. No decorations.

Warm up area-only competitors in uniform will be allowed on the infield to warm one event prior to their event.

Warm up at the field events -Only after the event official has opened the event for warm up and must be supervised by the official or coach. Once the event is over and the event judge has closed the venue. No further practice is allowed.

Competitors must leave the track and warm up area as soon as possible after their event.

Times will not be provided to competitors at the conclusion of their running event. Official times will be posted on the window of the press box.

Winners of events may go to press box and collect their Tiger Relay t-shirts as soon as it has been announced over the PA system.

If wind reading is over the max, we will use next best jump to turn into maxpreps if wind reading is good. We will score the best jump for individual during the meet for placing.
