State Qualifying: The Bulldog Team Decathlon is a state ranking event. This meet is sanctioned by CHSAA.
Parking: Bus parking will be located in the Middle School Parking Lot (1717 65th Ave). Universitys main parking lot will be reserved for spectators.
Camps/Warm-up: Team camps will be allowed on the grassy area on the South side of the middle school NO EXCEPTIONS. No footballs, frisbees, etc. will be allowed in the team camp area since it is near the discus area. The warm-up area for athletes will be on the North side of the football field. Athletes WILL NOT be allowed on the infield of the track and the warm-up area unless they have been called or are participating in their event.
Concessions: A concession stand will be located under the press box. There will be no hospitality room at this meet however we will have burritos for meet workers and coaches.
Schools: The number of schools will be limited to 12.
Scoring: Although all events will be contested, the team score will be based on IAAF decathlon scoring tables in the following events: 100m, 400m, 100/110HH, 800m, 1600m, Shotput, Discus, Pole Vault, High Jump, Long Jump. Each school will get a decathlon event score from their highest finisher. This score will be tallied along with the other decathlon events to crown a team decathlon winner.
Entries: Each school will be allowed 4 entries per event. Athletes are limited to only four events, including relays. Athletes that compete in the decathlon scoring events can only score for their team in one of those events (i.e. - Athlete A cannot score for their team in the 100m dash and the 400m dash).
Coaches Meeting: We will have a coaches meeting at 4:00 at the finish line.
Rules: All National Federation and CHSAA rules will be enforced at this meet (including uniform rule).
Entry Deadline: We will be utilizing the Milesplit (http://co.milesplit.com) website this year to process rosters and entries. The entry deadline will be at 8:00pm on April 13th. There will be no additions or substitutions at the meet.
Entry Fee: Entry fee is $175.00 for each school. Please pay ASAP.
