Meet Information
We are using the 2005 Lyman Invitational Track meet to examine a proposed order of events. We hope this will improve spectator interest and take some of the burden from our volunteer officials. We will also be allowing three (3) entries per event with the exception of the mile, 800, and 2 mile. In the 800 and mile events we will allow 4 entries per school. We are going to seed the top 14 in the 800 and mile events and the rest of-the entrants will run a consolation final before the beginning of the regular finals beginning 10 mins after the consolation finals. The two mile will be run as normal. The winner of each of the consolation finals will receive a first place medal. We hope you enjoy this.
Note: 1. NO 4x800 relay (due to increased number in the distance events).
2. NO PRELIMS IN THE 400 (TIMED FINALS)

Entry Fee: $40.00 per team of boys and 40.00 per team of girls/ 75.00 if both teams
Time Schedule:
3:45 - Coaches meeting at the press box (3 jumps, 3 throws in field events)
4:00 - finals in boys and girls shot put, boys and girls discus, boys and girls long jump (triple jump follows), girls high jump, then boys high jump.
4:00 Pole Vault, Girls first, boys follow
4:30 Prelims (girls before boys) 100 mtr. high hurdles, 110 mtr high hurdles, 100 Meter dash - 10 MIN BREAK-200 meter dash.
6:00 Consolation finals (mile, 800 each one heat)
Regular Order Running finals 10 mins after Consolations
