I can't possibly do a promo for every race out there, but this one happened to catch a lot more of my interest than most.
The race takes advantage of a window of opportunity that doesn't come around all that often. With the Gleneagle Golf Course on the north end of Colorado Springs sitting idle right now, race director Paul Sherrill decided to inquire about hosting a cross country style event on the course. That offer was accepted.
So, Young Life will be hosting a 5K cross country race on the Gleneagle Golf Course on Saturday morning, May 31. Runners of all ages are invited to participate.
