The Highlands Ranch Memorial has been doing business a few years now, but it's not one of the mega meets for which Sports Authority Stadium is better know.

Even at four entries per team, it's a small meet and one you can count on to be done by mid-afternoon, even with a 30-minute lightning delay thrown in for fun.

None of the teams present seemed intent on laying down a commanding team performance, but pretty much every team there was looking to find ways to get bubble kids and bubble relays the kind of marks that would send them forward into the state meet.

The meet was barely underway before The Classical Academy girls did exactly that. Loading a relay that had gone mostly dormant through the season, TCA unleashed a 1:49.97 SMR8 that more or less guarantees their entry into the 4A state meet.
