A Note to All Users of Colorado Track XC


We had some significant issues with the MileSplit network today.

Many of you are already aware we've had some fairly significant issues with the site over the last 48 hours or so. I can't and won't try to hide that.

If you've worked in software, you know that new launches come with associated issues. You find out that you touched things you didn't mean to touch. I know the fallout from that negatively affected many of you today. Some of you weren't able to log in. Some of you weren't able to do online registrations. Some of you experienced a range of other issues.

Only late in the day did I become fully aware of anything like the full scope of the problem.

I am not the person who can fix the issues, but I am the face of Colorado Track XC and I do apologize to you for the problems you encountered today.

The development staff at FloSports is working hard to resolve those issues. You are welcome to report new and recurring issues to me. When these occur, it's always good to pass along your operating system, your web browser type and version number, and a screen shot or two of where the problem is occuring. That helps our technical staff to pinpoint and correct the problem.
