Where Are We Against Recent State-Qualifying Standards? 2A Girls

We turn our attention now to the race to nail down state-qualifying berths among 2A Girls. 

Things are about where we'd expect them to be. We'll see a rush of improvements in state-qualifying standards for this year over the next three weeks, and that will likely eclipse many of last year's minimum state-qualifying standards. The only mark for this year that seems to be trending well behind last year's standard in the 3200. We seem to be reaching a point--across all classifications--where those at the top end of the 3200 are getting steadily better, but markedly fewer girls are running the 3200. It would make for an interesting discussion were we to go back-and-forth on whether or not that's a cause-and-effect relationship.
