Blazing At The Bell

Easton Allred soloed a 15:17 for the fastest time of the day.

Easton Allred, JV Champion...

There's not much of a ring to it, but hey, it's sort of comical when the fastest time of the day comes out of a "JV" race (Sweepstakes B race).

Allred may be sitting out of varsity events in Colorado due to CHSAA's ruling on his transfer to Mountain Vista, but that didn't stop him from blazing the fastest time of the day - solo.

With the sun beaming above and temperatures climbing into the mid 70s, Allred time-trialed the course and made a statement that it doesn't matter what race he runs, running is running, and he ran 15:17 for the fastest time of the day, and perhaps the fastest time ever in a JV race in Colorado - someone, please find this stat for me...

Allred might have to fly with his wings clipped through the season, but that doesn't seem to slow or stop him one bit.

What does this mean for Allred and Mountain Vista's post-season?

Hope.

There's a lot of hope for big things here.
