Meet Information
1. Alamosa High School is on 805 Craft Drive. (Turn North at McDonalds (Craft Dr.), West on Clark and North on Maroon Drive.
2. Two divisions - girls and boys - Entry fee $40 per team (girls/boys), $80 per school, or $8 per athlete.
3. There will be a gate charge of $4.00 for adults and $3.00 for students. There will be concessions available.
3. All running events (heats) are against time - NO FINALS.
4. Each team may enter 8 competitors per event (unlimited entries in the 800 and
1600 meter runs).
5. Spikes should be no longer than 3/16.
6. Blocks will be provided by Alamosa High School.
7. For each relay, school may enter four teams.
8. Starting heights in the high jump: girls 4' 0"and boys 4'4".
9. Two pits will be used for the long and triple jump (triple jump in the east pit
and long jump in the west pit).
10. Awards: Medals for 1st through 3rd place and ribbons for 4th through 6th
place. WE WILL KEEP TEAM SCORES!
10. All team camps must be in the stadium bleachers. The infield area is to be used for athletes to warm up ONLY.
11. Please keep your athletes off the pole vault and high jump pits. Also, coaches
remind your athletes to stay behind the streamers along the home straight-
away.
12. Participants may compete in 4 events that includes relays.
13. Shot and discus will be provided; girls use 6 # and Boy use 8 # Shot. Shot and discus will be done in flights by distance.
14. ONLY the top eight times for each event will be recorded. If you want
times, you need to be timing your own athletes.
Coaches' meeting will be held at 8:00 a.m. (coaches meet on the field near the running events start line).
