Ah, the Front Range League girls. You'll find quality track and field here. Plenty of it, and in just about every event--every year.
Fort Collins is the defending 5A state champion girls team. They lost a little off that team, but not a lot. Still, the little they lost opens a door for teams like Rocky Mountain, Fossil Ridge, and Loveland. The league figures to be very competitive this spring and, no doubt, much will hinge on contributions from the freshman class of the various top programs in the league. Each top team has weaknesses, and each top team has strengths. This should be fun, and especially so at the league level. Fort Collins still appears to have the firepower to compete at state, but there are other schools around the league with greater depth that could give the Lambkins fits at the league level.
