Welcome to the 3rd Annual Teddy's Last Chance Invitational hosted by Roosevelt HS on their 9-lane track. Daniel Joiner and Mark Roberts will be co-meet directors. The meet will follow a unique order of events, and below you can access general information, last year's time schedule (should be very close to what we'll run) and tentative entry marks by classification based on 2025. Over 80 teams and 1500 athletes joined us last spring. We are still accepting teams ($400 entry fee) and will have a price of $15 per event for smaller teams and individual entries. Please open up the information sheet above and respond by email to Daniel and Mark if you would like to attend so we can make sure you're on our list to receive updates. 

Entry Process: Entries will open on Sunday, May 3rd at 4 pm, and will initially only accept verified times and marks for the 2026 season. You will be able to see the entries for the meet on the MileSplit page, and we will close the first round of entries Tuesday evening at 8 pm. We will check to see if there are any events we're concerned about, and then the meet will be re-opened by 8 am Wednesday morning with additional guidance and add  additional athletes who meet THEIR CLASSIFICATION standards. (You will need to email (mark.roberts@weldre5j.org) with the details of your "unique" entries so they can be approved.)

The meet will close on Thursday at 8 pm. From Thursday to Friday night, you will need to email Mark and Daniel with any requests. We will open the meet at the conclusion of the St. Vrain Inv. for you to remove any athletes who will no longer be competing on Saturday by 8 am. We will seed the meet Saturday morning and send out the program as soon as we're done (by 9 am). Coaches, athletes and parents should have a very good idea of where they stand since everyone will be able to view the current entries in real time (go to the Calendar page of MileSplit, find Teddy's Last Chance, and then pick the fourth choice, "entries", in the light gray menu bar). 

The track events will likely have room for additional entries, and we're willing to consider requests for more than 3 entries if you have additional athletes who meet the standards. We will not accept athletes in the 3200 meter run who are more than 30 seconds from the final qualifying position in their respective classification.
