Sedgwick County JH Track Meet 2026

Where:

Julesburg High School - 401 Cottonwood Street Julesburg, CO 80737

Parking:

See Track Meet Site Map - Bus Parking is ONLYallowed on the North side of 5th Street, east of the bus barn in the overflow parking lot.

Team Camps:

See Track Meet Site Map for the location for team camps

• NO footballs, frisbees, etc. are allowed in the team camp area.

• NO Playing on the School Playground equipment.

Warm-ups:

Warm-ups can be done in the designated area on the infield.

Field event warm-ups can only occur when the event areas are designated as open. 

Infield: 

The infield is for coaches and athletes warming up only.  Once your event is completed athletes are to exit and return to the stands or their respective camps.

Entries: 

We will be utilizing Milesplit (http://co.milesplit.com) website to process entries. 

• Each event - 6 entries per team 

• Relays - 2 entries per team

• Registration is open now and will close Thursday April 16th at 8:00pm

• Open Invitation, limited to the 1st 12 teams registered on milesplit.com

Implement/Vault 

Weigh-in for Implements and Vaulters will begin when teams arrive under the press box.

Scoring: 

Eight places will be scored (10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1) in all track events, field events, and relays.

Awards: 

NA

Entries/Admission: 

Entry fee is $200.00 for each school, or $100.00 for just a boys or girls team. 

Admission fee for spectators: $7.00/ adult and $5.00/student/senior

Coaches Meeting: 

Coaches meeting will be held at the press box at 8:15am 

Coaches Meeting Agenda:

• All competitive areas are considered restricted and no cameras or video are allowed, the inside of the track is considered a competitive area and anything inside the roped event area

• Athletes should try to complete field events attempts before going to running events if possible- they are allowed to change heats if needed - kids should leave at 3rd call and return 10 minutes after their heat is completed

• Field events start @ 9am promptly/Running events start @ 10am promptly

• Packets Include: lunch tickets, Schedule of the day

• Please help set up and break down hurdles

• Pick Up Trash and Camps before departure

• inch spikes only! Spot checks will occur. Please make sure your athletes are not disqualified!

Concessions:

Breakfast and Lunch Items served all day!  See Track Meet Site Map for Concession Stand Location, School is in session so please do not enter the school building, use the outside concession serving window for all concessions.  

Restrooms:

See Track Meet Site Map for Restroom Location, School is in session so please only enter the school building to use restrooms.

Notes: 

No locker rooms are available for changing. Restrooms will be available near the concession area.
