CHSAA has issued a revised cross country committee report with a few important changes.
The changes in this report all impact the 5A classification. 5A will have five, not four regions. Each region will advance the top 40% of qualifying teams and the top 15 individuals to state from each region.
The corrected 5A regional alignments are as shown below:

I'm guessing Castle View will end up in 5A Region 5, although one Douglas County school (ThunderRidge) is in Region 3. Pulling Highlands Ranch out of Region 3 helps to spread some of the girls' power around, though Region 5--by no means a weak girls' region to begin with--becomes stronger with the addition of Highlands Ranch. Legend is also unassigned as of this committee report.
