The Bayfield High School Cross Country team lost one of its family members last week when freshman Madeline “Maddie” Milner died in a skiing accident at Purgatory at Durango Mountain Resort. Maddie’s impact on her team, school and community were incredibly profound for a 14 year old. Our world is a better place because she blessed our lives - which makes the pain of her absence that much more difficult. Please join us in praying for Maddie’s family – Dianne, Mike, Sydney and Peri. And pass on that impromptu hug and infectious smile to all around you – Maddie’s trademark.
