The performance beat Valor Christian's 2013 4x200 squad (which included future NFL star Christian McCaffrey) that set the previous record at 1:25.46. 

To add some additional context to the impressiveness of this result - only five other Colorado squads have broken 1:26 over the past two decades, and only one (Valor) had run under 1:25.50.
