There has never before, in all of my four years of experience with running the Colorado Track XC web site, been a weekend like this one. 25 rankings meets throughout the week. 19 of those meets fell on Friday or Saturday. And, our own team schedule had back-to-back meets on Friday and Saturday. As the old saying goes, that light you think is the end of the tunnel is really just the headlight of the train coming at you.
As busy as the weekend was, however, it was a weekend of great performances and way more wind than anyone wanted. Come along for a whistlestop tour of the week's action:
