Windsor Invitational Start Lists

If you missed the Lakewood pole vault flying circus at last year's state meet, they're coming back to Windsor on Saturday. I'd throw a photo ID on this image except that I'm not sure which one of the Fab Four this is. Colorado Track XC file photo.

In terms of total count of entered athletes, Saturday's Windsor Invitational takes honors for the largest meet of the weekend by a very slim margin over the Banana Belt Classic. So, what's in those numbers? Plenty!

Loveland's Dylan Miller versus Lincoln's Dueth Vassell should be a very good 400.  The long jump between Weld Central's Tyler Offner and Prairie View's Jordan Holm looks promising.

Aimee Ledall (Eaton), Alivia Ayres-Perry (Rocky Mountain), and Kailey Fuchs (Loveland) should provide several seconds of nail-biting excitement in the 100. Ditto for the 200, except this time add Taylor Buschy of Loveland to the recipe. Molly Morrison, who has already had a good outing this season, takes on a very solid 1600 field that includes, among others, Melanie Nun and Maddie Ivy. The last lap of this one should throw a little hurt into the legs. If you haven't seen Carly Lester hurdle yet, you get two great opportunities on Saturday.

In the girls field events, Addy Neibauer takes on the Lakewood pole vault company in what promises to be an over-the-top black-and-orange festival. Carly Lester and Taylor Buschy should provide a good bit of back-and-forth at the long jump pit.

I promise the price of admission for this meet isn't high enough.
