
Dismiss it as coincidence or ignore it if you must, but for many of us, the exceptional round of performances at Coronado and John Martin this past weekend uncovers a deep well of questions and speculation.
This is not the week-in-review article, but it's also not completely unrelated to that weekly undertaking. It's difficult not to stop and wonder at what we witnessed over the last three days. Most specifically, the Coronado Cougar and John Martin Invitationals invite a lot of speculation.
Let me illustrate what I mean by pulling some comparative statistics for both meets versus their counterparts from last year (the 2013 meet data are contained in the white, or unshaded, column whereas the 2012 data are contained in the gray column);
