It's pretty tough to look at the list of 1A boys records and not be impressed by how many of them come from the southeastern corner of the state. Let's take a closer look as this might be the last time we see many of these records on the same list:
100 Meter Dash - Gabe Longworth, McClave, 11.19 - Since Longworth is back this year, we'll grant him the first and best crack at bettering his own record.
200 Meter Dash - Landry Cogburn, Walsh, 22.49 - Longworth is at the top of this list, too, but he's still more than a half-second back as of the end of the 2013 outdoor season. There is nobody else within any kind of reasonable range.
