Alert signs up and down the I-25 corridor blinked the message, “High Wind Advisory.” The warning certainly applied at the Harrison Panther Invitational. Conditions were chilly with a strong wind out of the north that tested runners on the venue’s back straight all day. Despite the subdued performances due to weather the meet did reveal many signs that could portend some big results in May.
 
It would be hard to argue against the claim that the biggest story coming out of Harrison this weekend is Pine Creek’s girls. Furthermore, under normal circumstances it is also hard to argue against the claim that Alleandra Watt is the biggest story coming out of Pine Creek, but Watt had a relatively quiet day on Saturday.
