Before you start into this, grab yourself something hot to drink and make sure the place you're sitting is comfortable. You'll be a while combing through all of these meets.
This one served as the warm-up act for the Jeffco 4A schools, the date after the Jeffco 5A warm-up got wiped out (so, it wasn't an entirely nice week leading up to Saturday).
Conifer's Nicholas Mizenko obliterated the 400 field with a 51.73 and also won the high jump at 5-10, taking home way more than his share of the meet highlights. Among the girls, Nina Thomas's shot put of 37-3.75 was the big mark of the day, but Caitlin Schmitt also ran a solid first-race-out 5:42 to win the 1600.
