I'll start this ranking of the 3A Boys top five by redisclosing my all-too-obvious rooting interest in TCA track and field. To avoid any conflicts of interest, or even the appearance of same, I'll simply make it my policy not to include TCA in any 3A rankings discussion--boys or girls. I'm open to the idea of someone else writing the 3A pieces, but I don't have any names in mind at this point.
As stated in the 5A Girls piece published earlier, this is an inexact and sometimes dangerous exercise. It's extremely easy to miss what others see. But, I'll do my best to be both thorough and objective. That said, let's take a look at what we have.
