Three Day Throwers Quadrathlon coming July 10-12

Do you like throws and want to learn more about them?

If you like throwing things, or like to watch people throwing things, you just might be more than casually interested in the Three Day Throwers Quadrathlon coming up on July 10-12.

The event combines clinic and competition. Events taught and contested include the shot put, discus, javelin, and hammer throw. It all happens on the grounds of Pine Creek High School on the north end of Colorado Springs.

Running the clinic and competition is Matt Krich. Krich was ranked #8 in the nation in the javelin in 1987 and has coached seven athletes to the Olympic Trials, two of which made the Olympics. He remains a masters level competitor himself.

The day of July 10 is devoted to clinic instruction in the shot put and discus. Day two is devoted to the javelin and hammer throw. As you might have already guessed, the competition takes place on July 12.
