Here's hoping the scroller on your mouse is in good working order; it's a very long list of entries for Saturday's St. Vrain Invitational. While it is a given that not all entries will actually race, there are in excess of 2700 entries for Saturday's races at Lyons Junior/Senior High School.

Several of the state's top 2A, 3A, 4A, and 5A individuals, as well as numerous top middle schoolers are listed in the fields. Several of the state's top 2A and 3A runners will be competing up in the 4A/5A division, to include Joel Such, Ben Butler, Paul Roberts, Corey Lewenkamp, Jack Plantz, and Dominic Carrese. And, if you're looking for some great middle school action, last year's state championship team--and a team that returns almost entirely intact--from Peak to Peak will be taking the course.

There's just a whole lot about this meet you aren't going to want to miss. But, if you do have to miss it, Colorado Track XC will be on-site with coverage. 

Meet directors: Colorado Track XC is always happy to post start lists for your meet. It's a relatively simple process if you've done online registration with Colorado Track XC. But, even if you haven't, it can still be done if you want to forward a file of your meet entries to me enough in advance of the meet that I can get them posted in time. This serves a couple of useful purposes. One, it helps build anticipation for your meet when fans and athletes see who will be racing. Two, it serves as a useful double-check to verify that all intended entries got in. This is especially useful if you're asking coaches to type a list of entries into a spreadsheet form and send it in to you. It's very easy to miss an athlete or two in that circumstance--and this is spoken by a coach who has been known more than once to do that.
