The Centennial League Championships took place Thursday at deKoevend Park in Littleton, hosted by Eaglecrest High School.  Possibly unbeknownst to casual cross country fans is that the traditional course that is utilized for the Arapahoe Invitational is not the same course that is used for Centennial League.  This is a tamed down version - absent the water jumps and creek crossings - likely to protect the runners this close to the state meet.  One similarity remained, however, between today's meet and this year's Arapahoe Invite - cool, damp, and often rainy conditions.  
 
Bucking a recent trend of teams down-playing their League Meets, no one today seemed to be doing that.  The Centennial League is a prideful league, with great success across the different sports throughout the years.  Winning a Centennial League title in any sport is still quite powerful.  Cherry Creek ...
