There are two stories to be told here. The first story is the story of next year's returning runners, which is told with reasonable--not perfect--accuracy below.

Kent Denver had a stellar season. For most of the fall, Kent Denver looked like the team that might unseat Salida on the throne of 3A, but the Sun Devils struggled at the state meet, ending up third. Most of the cast is back next year and they get a chance to fix the ending of the story in 2015. But, this is a league loaded with good teams. Peak to Peak, SkyView Academy, Colorado Academy, and Jefferson Academy all figure to have their say in how things come out as well.
