If you like to figure out the meaning of indoor track and field results, you may be up all night tonight. Because there's a whole to figure out about the results from yesterday's Martin Luther King Migh-Hi Classic.

While there is no shortage of places to begin, begin we must. And we might as well start with the 60 meter dashes.

It was no surprise to see Ally Watt winning the girls 60. It was mildly surprising, however, that's Watt's 7.46 climbed to the top of the national leader board. And Shayna Yon was not at all far behind at 7.53. Excavating deeper, all eight finalists in the girls 60 ran 7.90 or better and, if we include prelims, no less than 12 girls logged times faster than 8-flat.

Somewhat more surprising was Miguel Molas' win in the boys 60. His time of 6.83 moved him to #4 on the national rankings. Christian...
