It's absolutely true that indoor season doesn't tell you everything you need to know about outdoor season. In fact, there are a few cases where what you learn in indoor season can actually prove deceptive where the outdoor season is concerned.
Still, I thought it would be fun to take the indoor marks posted thus far, both in-state and out-of-state, and score them as a meet. Here's what you get when you do that for the girls (note that the 3000 and two mile are both included):
