As track and field conferences go in Colorado, it's hard to find one with the top-to-bottom, event-by-event talent, strength, and depth of the Centennial League. Many of the Centennial State's top teams and top athletes reside in this conference. Thus it's unlikely that this meet will disappoint, and it didn't, despite the British-like weather that has hovered over our sunny state for the last week.
This meet is usually held on a Thursday/Saturday time frame so as to mimic the state meet and to provide a buffer in case of inclement weather. Friday, the built in rest day, was smartly utilized as day two of the competition with expected worse weather forecast for Saturday.
