Monday
Anna Hall prevailed in the 13-14 pentathlon with an overall score of 3156, 47 points ahead of second place. The mark also checks in as a 50-point PR for Hall.
Tuesday
Taylor James put up 2441 points to claim 12th place in the 11-12 girls pentathlon.
Wednesday
It was a busy morning for Colorado in hurdle prelims. Kylie Davis and Juliyah Wilson both advanced to semi-finals in the 15-16 400 hurdles. In the 17-18 division, Mackenzie Howie advanced to semis, but Tianna Terrell fell just a hair below the cut and was the top runner not to advance to semis at 1:06.22. Wilson was the lone individual of the trio advancing to run a personal best time, as she crossed the line at 1:07.95.
Taylor James encountered a fate all too similar to that met by Tianna Terrell. James was the first competitor out of the 800 meter final in the 11-12 girls division with a 2:26.93.
Heide Baron qualified for semi in the 17-18 200 with a 24.45 (+1.2).
Thursday
We saw a continuation of Wednesday's story line, with Kylie Davis advancing to semis of the 15-16 100 hurdles in not-quite-PR time, and Alexis Buckhaults being the first competitor to miss the semis of the 17-18 girls 100 hurdles. Buckhaults checked out of the competition with a time of 15.26 (-1.0).
Christian Lyon made semis of the 17-18 100 with a time of 10.80 (+1.3).
Friday
Sierra Suazo claimed an eighth in the 15-16 discus with a toss of 123-8.
Simone Watkins advanced to semis in the 13-14 girls 400 with a time of 57.99. Heide Baron made a successful case for semis in the 17-18 400 with a 55.59. Julia Hall joined Baron at 56.48.
Saturday
Simone Watkins ran a little faster at 57.32 in semis, but just missed making the finals of the 13-14 girls 400. Heide Baron, on the other hand, did make finals in the 17-18 age group with a 55.13. Julia Hall was the first person out at 55.82.
Julyah Wilson and Kylie Davis bowed out in 400 hurdle semis. Mackenzie Howie's 1:02.52 was likewise not quite fast enough to make finals in the 17-18 400 hurdles.
Anna Hall ended up fifth in the 13-14 high jump with a 5-3 clearance.
Sunday
Heide Baron missed her top time of the week, but her 55.85 was good enough for sixth in the final of the 17-18 400.
Taylor James ended up fifth in the 11-12 high jump at 4-9.
