The San Juan Basin League may be short on teams, but it does boast one of 2A's most talented teams in Telluride.

Telluride - The Miners bring back a simply loaded roster that includes Soleil Gaylord, Esme Fahnestock, Larkin Brodie, and Anna Fake. It's difficult to imagine asking for more in the 2A world. Not only will this team compete for the league title, but they'd better be on your short list of state team title hopefuls. Don't be distracted by Brodie's lack of distance times in track this spring; she was busy running 200s and 400s, and very nearly broke a minute in the 400. Gaylord, Fahnestock, and Fake were solidly below six minutes each in the 1600. Throw in Lydia Hagan and Maya Ordonez coming up with the freshman class, and you have a very big problem on your hands if you're anyone else in 2A.
