The series of depth analyses around each league in the state is not yet complete. And, it will be completed. But, I wanted to get something new, and more ambitious in terms of writing, started here as the season draws nearer. Depth analysis is fine, but it's time to add something more lively to the mix.

But, more lively means more risk. 

The preseason top five series means going out on a limb a little, exercising some subjectivity, and trying to identify the five best all-around teams in the state. We'll start here with 2A boys. 

The "five best" teams is an arbitrary and subjective standard, but the digits at the end of hands make five a natural choice. Of those five, three were easy.
