Though registration numbers have been climbing steadily this week, it's probably worth noting here that online registration for the Air Force High School Indoor Open closes at midnight tonight (Tuesday). A late entry fee of $35 will be assessed to individuals registering the day of the meet. Those who get registered before the clock strikes midnight will pay only a $25 entry fee.
That's all worth mentioning because the registration window for most of the season's indoor meets closes much closer to the actual meet date than it does for the Air Force High School Indoor Open.
In addition to a solid block of individual registrations, there is a wide spectrum of team registrations piling in for this meet. Among those team registrations are not a few from outside the borders of Colorado. Identifiable teams from Indiana, Wyoming, and Kansas have registered for the meet, in addition to the individuals that aren't nearly as easy to trace.
Also available for Colorado indoor athletes this weekend are the USATF-Colorado All-Comer at Balch Field House in Boulder and the Cherry & Silver Open at the Albuquerque Convention Center, both on Saturday. At this point, there do not appear to be any Colorado entries for this year's Cherry & Silver Open, but that could change easily enough.
