Although this region doesn't encompass all of the Cherry Creek School District programs, there is no mistaking the influence that the CCSD wields over the outcomes in regional contests. Cherry Creek is the traditional powerhouse program of the region, but Grandview and Cherokee Trail have been rising of late.

We begin here with a review of the rankings of returning runners from last fall:
