In many respects, this region represents a merger of the Northern and Tri Valley Leagues. A few teams are missing, but not many.
They'll be going to Lyons to settle things once again this year. Lyons isn't a 4A Region 4 school, but the course was deemed the best available option.
We'll now take a closer look at the regional prospects, starting with the girls.
4A Region 4 Girls Preview
Thompson Valley has enjoyed a solid season to date, and that success has been heavily predicated on the rise of a rather sensational freshman class--to include Kenadi Krueger, Madzie Boyles, and Julia Lundgren. Without them, TV could be looking at a pretty stiff fight to advance to state. With them, they should cruise in easily.
