Chiante' Stewart is part of a very small Black Forest League representation of returning athletes with state meet experience.

Peyton has been at or near the top this league for a while. Nothing about that appears to be on the change radar for this spring. If anything, the Panthers seem to have tightened their grip on league domination heading into this spring. Peyton ranks well well ahead of Simla and Ellicott, and even further ahead of everyone else.

Top returning individuals from the league include Britton Holmes, Caleb Smith, Cannon Baker, Dominic Gentile, Sammy Schuemann, and Seth Anderson (Peyton), Marcus Mazerall (Simla), Chiante' Stewart and Jaylen Hayes (Ellicott), Luke Coddington and Tommy Harmon (Pikes Peak Christian), Ben Kelly, Charlie Sparks, and Mikie Mikita (Calhan), Austin Ban (Kiowa), and Daniell Mayer (Elbert).
