We take time now to look at the progress of the Boys Class of 2017 in the realm of sprints. Stepping through the pages of this article, you will see the top 20 rankings for the 100, 200, and 400 meter dashes for the Colorado class of 2017 in each of their freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior (to date) seasons.
As we have seen in other event areas, we see a lot of continuity over the years in the boys sprints. There is a decent sprinkling of new names in the top 20s each year, though the bigger picture is one of continuity. Those who started out as top freshmen mostly remain at or near the top as seniors, provided they have not been totally siphoned off to football interests.
