Rankin, Cooper Post National Elite Marks at CSM Twilight Meet

Cooper finished second in the meet's pole vault competition to pole vaulting legend Pat Manson. He also bettered his #2 national indoor ranking by two inches with Friday's performance.

In other action of note involving high school athletes, Jeremy Rankin also posted an indoor season second-best mark of 6.71 in the 60 Meter Dash. Rankin won the event agains collegiate and post-collegiate competition. Rankin had earlier run 6.69 in the prelims of the Air Force Indoor Invitational in January.
